@isabella.brown082: CHECK YOUR POWER BANK BEFORE FLYING ✈️ Traveling to China? Make sure your power bank has the CCC/3C label before you head to the airport! If it doesn’t, it might get taken away at security. Also, set up Alipay and WeChat before you arrive—these cashless apps will be your best friends during your trip. And don’t forget about the 3% card fee; splitting payments can save you money! Google Maps might not be reliable, so try Amap or Baidu Maps instead. Preparing a bit can make your experience in China smooth and enjoyable. Trust me, translation apps will be lifesavers for navigating signs and menus! #TravelTips #China #PowerBank #Alipay #WeChat
You don't even need a power bank. They are everywhere

slide 3 is cap ,you can buy an e sim in china. and you can still have access to Google and stuff.
slide 4 you don't have to pay foreign exchange fee if you use Monzo or revolut .so you should get one of these 2 bank cards if you're using alipay

I would not rely on the esim alone. Many services still don’t work. Yes WhatsApp works but as an example you can’t upload photos or videos there. Same could go wrong with uploading pictures to your cloud. Also everything is really complicated. Why are there so many mini apps for transportation. As an example 12306 won’t work without Chinese number. I tried for hours nothing worked. And if you want to use Bus / Train you first need to search for that account in Alipay enable everything and only then you can get a QR Code ready for payment. And you need to do that for every region…
