About to get an electric car on salary sacrifice. With the payments pulling me out of the 40% tax band, the savings in fuel, tax and maintenance I'm getting a brand new £50k for £160 a month.
Absolute no brainer

I really have no sympathy for people that get dragged in to PCP or buy now pay later. I bought a car 16 years ago. I still use it. It costs me £800 per year for services and repairs. Because I have saved up every month over those years I can go out and buy a new car from saving when it eventually fails. Is £500 a month renting a care for image worth it?

From the day I started working I arranged a standing order of £100 per month to a savings account. The only thing I have brought on debt is my house. Once you understand that credit costs more then it’s not worth it.
