What’s really sad is my son reported that the juvenile detention employees also mock the kids in there. Taunting. Mocking. Taking things away that is beneficial to their mental health. I called the center and asked to speak to the “assistant director” that taunted and mocked my son who has mental health issues. At first she lied. When I asked her why her name was mentioned in the reporting to me, her story changed. Immediately got belligerent and accusatory towards me… like I was the one attacking her. Needless to say THERE HAS TO BE MORE EDUCATING AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN THE SYSTEM!
