Antagonizing elderly people for a few clicks and comment farming is reprehensible. He might be dealing with cancer, or a recently deceased wife, or have a heart attack and die, and you infected his last day with your immature, disingenuous, nefarious behaviour. This isn't journalism. This isn't "knowing your rights." This is targeted harassment dressed up as a First Amendment stunt for content and clicks. An old man just trying to go about his day doesn't deserve to be treated like a target because someone needs footage for engagement. Public filming is legal. But deliberately escalating after someone asks you to stop, and going out of your way to dig up more of their personal info, crosses from "audit" into intimidation. Social media platforms should ban these accounts.
