![Innal-hamda lillaah, nahmaduhu wa nasta’eenuhu wa nastaghfiruh, wana’oodhu billaahi min shuroori anfusinaa wa min sayyi-aati a’maalinaa,man yahdihi-llaahu fa laa mudilla lah, wa man yudlilhu fa laa haadiya lah,wa ash-hadu an laa ilaaha ilallaah, wahdahu laa shareeka lah, wa ash-haduanna muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluh. Truly all praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and askHis forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our selvesand our bad actions. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can turn himastray. And whomsoever Allah turns astray has none to guide him. Ibear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, theOnly One without any partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad isHis servant and (final) messenger. Yaa ayyuha-lladheena aamanu-ttaqu-llaaha haqqa tuqaatihi wa laatamootunna illaa wa antum muslimoon. [3:102] Oh you who believe! Be in awe of Allah, as His awesomeness demands,and do not (let yourselves) die except that you are Muslims. Yaa ayyuha-nnaasu-ttaqoo rabbakumu-lladhee khalaqakum min nafsinwaahida, wa khalaqa minhaa zowjahaa wa batha minhumaa rijaalankatheeran wa nisaa-ah, wattaqu-llaaha-lladhee tasaa-aloona bihi wal-arhaam, innallaaha kaana ‘aleykum raqeebaa. [4:1] Oh humanity! Be in awe of your Lord who created you from one souland from it its mate and spread forth from both of them many men andwomen. And be in awe of Allah through Whom you demand (yourrights) of one another, and (do not cut the relations) of the wombs thatbore you. And truly Allah is ever watchful over you. Yaa ayyuha-lladheena aamanu-ttaqu-llaaha wa qooloo qowlan sadeedaa, yuslih lakum a’maalakum wa yaghfir lakum dhunoobakum, wa man yuti’i-llaaha wa rasoolahu faqad faaza fowzan ‘adheemaa. [33:70-71] Oh you who believe! Be in awe of Allah and speak a straightforwardword. He will repair for you your deeds and forgive you yourwrongdoings.
