On 12 January 2021, Sayed asked: "Who can I speak to to get contract to supply SAPS with masks, with SAPS logo?" Khan responded: "Send me samples and prices, please ASAP. I'm gonna see someone tomorrow night who is the possible guy to make it happen." Sayed sent a price list (gloves, masks, caps, shoe covers). Khan confirmed receiving samples. On 18 May 2021, Sayed followed up, and Khan asked if he was registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The chats indicate Khan was facilitating Sayed's access to a SAPS tender. #MadlangaCommission
