@moveswithmaci: if only adhd was just a ‘trend’ People are so quick to dismiss us with adhd, because it’s so misunderstood. ADHD can have its loud, funny and hyper moments but the constant mental exhaustion that comes with it… if it was just a trend it’s one I wouldn’t still be following ❤️🩹 We don’t choose the emotional burden of rejection sensitivity Or the laying in bed unable to sleep due to our thoughts Or never feeling like you ‘fit in’ because all you’ve ever done is mask… ADHD affects real people, in real ways, EVERY day but that’s a conversation a lot of people don’t want to have. If this post resonates with you, you aren’t alone. There are a whole group of people who feel just like you do everyday and we’re all just showing up and trying to figure it out too🤍 #adhd #adhdwomen #adhdproblems #adhdlife
I actually can’t relax or I get deep depression ☠️

🪼 :
ADHD is an adaptation to a stressful or traumatic environment during early childhood that alters brain development, rather than a condition determined solely by genetics. When the brain is in a state of panic or chronic stress, its primary goal is survival: it may become distracted, dissociate, or shift its attention away from what it perceives as threatening. From this perspective, a brain does not become chronically distracted without an underlying cause. These mechanisms are adaptive responses to stress, not signs of a brain that simply “chooses” not to pay attention.

That constant masking and never fitting in was exhausting me 🥲 and I didn't realize how much food affected my mental state honestly daily. The work of Loren Green in Eat Like a Woman Protocol showed me that brain health starts with what I eat now properly. Dropped 22lbs and I finally feel more like myself without the constant exhaustion truly honestly. My top on the list and everyone needs this fr))

I went undiagnosed for 21 years and still in the beginning of the process trying to find a solution. But man was is so hard to explain how I would feel and getting told I was lazy or didn’t try hard enough for things like in school

the thing this weekend is... i am free from work. friday til monday. sooooo many options! go away with my camper, birthday party. al lot of fun things with friends, a traditional game/sport thing in the town, do some things in and around the house. i end up doing nothing because there a lot of options to choose. this part is what i hate the most

Kinda hate when I try and explain why I can’t talk about something that bothered me because my head started the indie 500 at Mach Jesus and I can’t remember what initially started it but now it’s just running and I can’t stop it
