Wait since when do 23 yr olds get an allowance? I never got an allowance when I was under 18 I was aloud to live in the house and got food and clothes and whatever else I need that was all I was given I never got $ for anything unless it was from my grandparents on either my birthday or Christmas that’s it

I asked my dad one time if I could have an allowance for doing my chores, he said yes I'll allow you to have food a bed and roof over your head... I was 12 then I'm 48 now and I've never taken any thing for granted.
