@eliotcopperwhite0: POV: Everyone thinks divers are scared of sharks… 🦈❌ The real underwater menace? 😅🐟 Titan triggerfish. During nesting season, titan triggerfish become fiercely protective of their eggs and will happily charge at divers who get too close. The worst part? Their nests are on the seabed, but they defend them in a cone shape upwards. so swimming straight to the surface can actually keep you in their territory for longer! Your best escape is to swim sideways away from the nest. They’re not venomous, but they have incredibly powerful jaws that can easily bite through sea urchins, coral and shells… so you definitely don’t want your fingers anywhere near them. Sharks are usually calm and curious. A nesting titan triggerfish? That’s the fish that gets your heart racing. 😂 #TitanTriggerfish #ScubaDiving #OceanFacts #MarineLife #Underwater
