@cookwithjhoy: Homemade Gyoza Ingredients: Gyoza wrappers 800g ground beef or pork Half a cabbage, finely chopped 1/2 cup chopped chives or spring onions 2 tsp. grated ginger 2 tsp. grated garlic 3 tbsp. soy sauce 3 tbsp. sake 2 tbsp. sesame oil 1 tsp. salt 1-2 tsp. beef or other seasoning powder A little olive oil for frying 1/4 cup water for fry-steaming 1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except oil and water. 2. Mix well until sticky and fully incorporated. 3. Let it rest for a few minutes or up to half an hour to let the flavors meld. 4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each gyoza wrapper. 5. Moisten the edges with water, fold in half, then pleat to seal. Repeat with all wrappers. 6. Heat a pan with a little oil. Arrange the gyoza in the pan. 7. Pan-fry until the bottoms are golden brown. 8. Add water to the pan, cover, and let them steam for 3 minutes. 9.
