Contexto: La madre proviene de una familia adinerada que cayó en la ruina debido a las malas inversiones de sus padres. Tras el fallecimiento de ambos, decidió vender la mansión familiar para saldar las deudas y comprar la casa donde viven. Como creció con un mayordomo, que incluso continuó ayudándola después del nacimiento de su primer hijo, nunca aprendió a realizar las tareas del hogar. Además, tiene una salud muy frágil. El dorama se llama Yamada Taro Monogatari y estaba basado en un manga del mismo nombre.
