Fun fact: my step dad (who raised me) was in the carpenters union and was apart of building the Son of Beast. He took pictures from beginning to end. I have the album. He has since passed on. Back then, for every 80 hours they worked, they got 4 free tickets. He worked 80 hours a week. We had so many tickets we were giving them away. I was 16 when this was built. He actually rode it without the lap bars in it on test rides.

I rode em all multiple times vortex, beast som of beast, top gun flight simulator, the white water rapids, there was another big coaster not the red and blue racers or king cobra

When it was new it wasn’t bad at all. The racers were rougher but the year before it was torn down it was terrible.
