@finalclip0: I found the most fascinating irony in Jerusalem. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is one of the holiest sites in Christianity, marking where Jesus was crucified and buried. But here’s the twist: six different Christian denominations share the space, and they argue so much over control that they actually entrusted the keys to a neutral Muslim family. It’s the ultimate lesson in how history and faith collide in this region. The architecture itself is mind-blowing, but the layers of tension and coexistence underneath are even deeper. Now, I’m taking a bike to see what the other side of the city holds. #jerusalem #holysepulchre #historytok #travelstories #hiddenhistory
let me put it into perspective for u I know u need it. Do the math with me real quick.
If you go back 4,500 years, and you assume people lived to about 50 years on average, that’s roughly 90–92 generations. That’s it. Ninety-something people standing in a straight line between us and that time. Not thousands. Not myths. Actual human lifetimes stacked end to end. We should know who built the pyramids and why. We should have all the information.
Now here’s where it gets uncomfortable.
Go back to Jesus—about 2,000 years ago. Using the same math, that’s only around 40 generations. Forty people between you and one of the most documented figures in human history.
So ask yourself this
we’re supposed to believe that entire civilizations, daily lives, advanced knowledge, and world-shaping events from 90 generations ago are either perfectly preserved… or completely nonexistent?History isn’t that far away.
That’s the part they don’t want you to sit with.
And once you see the math… it’s hard to unsee it.
