I have a daughter and a granddaughter who are ICU Nurses and I know how hard it is to work there. Going over 16 hours would mean mistakes, omissions, and unnecessary us to patients.

What I notice is that hospital and even the nurses unions are putting these people through hell I have yet to have a person tell me a career established story about them staying in for the long haul. And that nursing and finding people that want to do that is getting harder to do. If you work two doubles and somebody wants a third out of you and it says in your contract that you should be able to do it that’s on the unions and the hospital not on you.
