"It's just a fetus" is the same dehumanizing language used for millennia to erase the guilt of murder. Replace "just a fetus" with "just a jew" or "just a slave". Late stage abortions happen up to 24 weeks and the earliest premature babies have been born at 21 weeks. Consent is a common argument, but thats literally saying consent to drive without a seatbelt isn't consent to die. When I drive my car, I COULD get in a horrible accident. Will it happen every time? No. But I still PROTECT myself by using a seatbelt. Does it have a 100% success rate? No, but I'm LESS at risk if I use PROTECTION. Actions have consequences, and if there's known risks, the onus is on you to take precautions, and avoiding accountability for that does NOT justify murder. If a fetus isn't alive, why don't you drink, smoke, or skydive, when pregnant? To protect that LIFE inside you.
