that's why I don't really believe in the traditional concept of panliligaw anymore. for me during the ligawan stage, it's normal for both people to show the best version of themselves. kasi disadvantage yan both men and women, nothing's wrong with that naman, but hindi mo pa rin talaga nakikilala nang genuine ang isang tao, it's only when the relationship becomes more serious that their real personality, habits, and values naturally come out. kaya nga may kasabihang, "SA UNA LANG MAGALING." that's why I believe more in exclusive dating. It gives both people the chance to genuinely know each other, not just when everything is going well, but even during away, misunderstanding, etc... for me that's where real compatibility is built, not just through words or grand gestures, but through consistency and authenticity.
