comendo aquele xsalada com aquela maionese
Most 13-year-olds are either doing their homework or playing video games… Not Malaki Conteh. He’s thinking about how many plates of Caribbean food he needs to sell to cover £4,000 per term in school fees. His story started at just six years old, when he set up a small stall outside his dad’s office to earn enough for singing lessons and chase the dream of joining his church choir. Today, he runs Malaki’s Food & Drinks in London, a Caribbean food business that now employs his parents. But for Malaki, success isn’t only measured in money. Part of what he earns goes toward buying instruments for children who can’t afford them, and helping fund therapy and travel for people facing mental health struggles. And in a full-circle moment, it all led back to where it began, the choir. Malaki fulfilled that childhood dream, becoming the first Black chief chorister in the church’s 1,000-year history. #entrepreneurs #businesstips #business #entrepreneurlife #entrepreneurship
