@jlemiii: Update: My sweet Cheeto crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday during surgery. To make a long story short he suffered a urethral rupture, an extremely uncommon complication from a urinary blockage, and his little body just couldn’t keep fighting. He passed peacefully on the operating table. I didn’t get to say goodbye, but I find peace knowing he was able to spend his last night at home, surrounded by me and his siblings, sleeping in his favorite spot. He wasn’t even expected to make it through the night, so I am forever grateful that he did. I will cherish that forever. I am completely shattered. A piece of my heart went with him yesterday. I don’t know how to put this kind of heartbreak into words. After spending a week in the hospital with a urinary blockage, he came home 5 days ago and took a sudden turn for the worse, and even multiple vets have been unable to figure out exactly what’s wrong.
