Turns out those might not help-and could even cause harm! Your lower back craves STABILITY, not stretching. Often, stiffness comes from tight hips, not your back itself. Try these two hip-focused moves instead: 1️⃣Hip Flexor Stretch Hold onto something stable, tighten your core, and slide one foot back (use a slider or just glide along the floor). Keep your spine upright and squeeze your glute. Do 10 reps per side. 2️⃣Modified Hip Airplane Place one foot down, slide the other foot obliquely into a curtsy lunge. Hold for 3-5 seconds. Repeat 10 times per side. & Why it works: Sitting tightens hip flexors, and stiff hips overload your back. These moves target the real problem!
