@stariibloom: I promise i’m getting through all of your suggestions and requests! This series grew more than I thought I now have 3 parts in my drafts… #scenario #foruyou #viral #writing #culture
As an Aussie person these are perfect however I have a few notes + some extra habits 🤓 1) For Flip flops we technically call them thongs but it’d still be okay to use either 2) if a person leaves their shoes outside you make sure to check it for spiders or bugs before putting them on 3) Depends on the region but theres a big coffee culture like Melbourne is called the Coffee capital for a reason. 4) Our speech is usually pretty informal and we shorten words a lot e.g service station = servo 5) Cricket, AFL, NRL and Netball are the big sports. If anyone has any questions I’m happy to answer

Can confirm the British one is accurate especially the queueing one which I don't even realize isn't normal in other countries. I am curious where this information was sourced because all of them seem to be quite accurate?

Thank you so much for doing Welsh. As a Welsh person, I cannot tell you how happy it made me to see someone acknowledging our part of the country, even if we’re now part of the UK. Thank you dearly.

as a british person, these are amazing!! we also sometimes bring an alcoholic beverage (wine or a pack of beer) instead of chocolates (this is usually if you know the host’s personal preference, if not you just go for a standard box of chocolates lol)

As a British person, also remember that there are a lot of different accents in places such as Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and other places. A lot of them also use pronounce certain words differently, like scone, bath, etc.

As someone who is Spaniard, this is actually accurate! you could also say we speak a lot with our hands, we try to give emphasis to what we say by gestures even though it's not the only country who does it but it is very remarkable
