Dentist here. Don’t need to use ice cold water. Just open your tap to cold with little flow. Add water little by little, like one tablespoon-ish at a time and keep mixing. Make sure you don’t make the mixture runny, has to be pasty. When you do the lower jaw, press it on with light pressure with one finger on each side of the tray. That way you’ll be able to the last teeth aswell.
