there’s no real difference in this between python and C for example you’re just moving up to layers of abstraction where the compiler is making different decisions for you

I didn't watch the whole thing but my experience is that vibe coding works but vibe maintenance is rough. Also, using an AI agent to perform specific tasks on a mature code base and/or do reviews alongside a development team seems to work really well too.;

well said. But if you run as a solo dev that knows what they're doing, and replace scrums with design canvas, do the whole agil dev cycles and everything as if youre a whole entrmerprise, you can code an information system in a year that competes with the big guys, even down to your legal analysis phase..

Vibe coding works the same way C coding does. In C, you defer part of the work to the compilers and linkers. But the quality of the code depends on the developer. It's no different with AI. We defer even more to the machine, but again the quality of what you get is still very dependent on the skill of the developer orchestrating the effort.
