The whole point of feminism is that women get to choose. If the word “marriage” existed in a vacuum, with no baggage attached to it, she’s still choosing it for herself. Getting married doesn’t erase her career, her independence, or her ambitions. Just because you don’t want to get married doesn’t mean she shouldn’t. She’s her own person. If marriage isn’t something you personally agree with, that’s your belief, not hers. Her autonomy doesn’t disappear because her choices are different from yours.
