Off script aside? In the US students can actually contact teachers outside of school? This is not even allowed in the UK. Its incredibly inappropriate.

The only time we contact outside of school (high school wise) is via email about being sick or about an assignment. University is the same, and if you have a thesis supervisor, you contact them anytime of any day

i remember how my homeroom teacher (9th grade i think) asked me out to get some pizza (my mom agreed btw, they were colleagues) and it turned out that this guy really wanted to go out on a date with her, and she didn't want to be alone with him, so she took me with her... she also left me with him alone in the cinema, because she had an emergency she had to attend to. the guy took me home on a taxi, and the taxi driver was eying him the whole ride. he was a good dude, he just wasn't my teacher's type. she asked me not to tell anyone, so I didn't. they don't talk with my mom anymore, because instead of this guy with phd (the same guy who took care of me after she left me with him) she went and married an uneducated guy that beats her (we assumed because she came to work with a black eye after being absent for about two months to write her resignation letter), and their communication died out after her wedding
