Depends highly where you live and even on big cities what you do of your days. Even in Shenzhen, 3000/ month would be doable but you will be living in the outskirts . And not doing much apart from working

I’m not cooking, everyday order food twice from meituan cost around 70 yuan, order Didi going to work 30 yuan. A month total 3000 yuan for eat and taxi only. I’ve been living in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guiyang, Chongqing, Kunming, Lijiang and Zunyi.
