Even the slightest bit of moisture on any tool you stick into the formula can start it’s hydration process and cause the whole tin to get full of mold mycelium. That is why you are supposed to have clean and dry hands, and use the scoop that comes with it. If you must use another scoop or whatever, keep the stuff in the tub DRY.

Just make sure the scoop is fully dry before adding it back to the formula tin or using it again as your adding moisture to the tin which can lead to rapid bacterial growth and mould and cause serious illness 🙂

These are honestly a game changer. I’d spend 5 mins prepping 2 days of formula instead of scooping every time I made a bottle, and it stops the scoop getting like that as there’s no steam when prepping
