@east_at_home: Keema Rice is one of the best ways to add flavour to your rice! 👌 Whether you’re serving as a side, or a main meal, we have both the recipe and ingredients you need to make it below: Ingredients: ✨3 tablespoons (75ml) vegetable oil ✨1/2 medium (50g) onion peeled and finely diced ✨1 teaspoon (7g) salt ✨1/2 teaspoon (1g) kasoori methi ✨100g minced lamb ✨1 teaspoon (3g) BIR mix powder ✨1/2 tablespoon (7g) BIR tomato paste ✨250g cooked basmati rice ✨Handful of chopped fresh coriander Method: 1. Heat a wok on a medium high heat and add the vegetable oil. 2. Fry the onion, salt and kasoori methi and for around 2 minutes stirring occasionally until the onions turn translucent and soften. 3. Add the minced lamb, flattening it down with the back of a spoon to break up the mince. Cook for 5 minutes on a high heat until browned. 4. Turn the heat down to medium and stir in the BIR mix powder and cook for 30 seconds. 5. Add the BIR tomato paste and stir for 30 seconds. 6. Add the cooked basmati rice and stir coating all the rice in the spices. Cook for another 5 minutes until the rice is piping hot. 7. Add the coriander and stir through, then serve.
