I’m a med lab student and when I told my doctor this she started giving me names of people in the lab to contact when I graduated if I wanted a job in that hospital 😭 Honestly telling them may help you more than you think

The only thing even remotely similar I've experienced as a pre-med was when I was shadowing a doctor. He got frustrated with one of his students and started venting at me, asking why I was even shadowing if I didn't know anything or have any experience. Later, I mentioned that I was actually a paramedic. After that, he had me starting IVs for him for the rest of the day. 😭
