@hafeezjoola: For everyone observing Ṣalātul Istijābah, don’t forget to recite this beautiful supplication from the Qur’an: أَمَّنْ يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَإِلَٰهٌ مَعَ اللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ Amman yujību al-muḍṭarra idhā daʿāhu wa yakshifu as-sū’a wa yajʿalukum khulafā’a al-arḍ. A-ilāhun maʿa Allāh? Qalīlan mā tadhakkarūn. (Qur’an 27:62) “Or, Who responds to the distressed when he calls upon Him, removes adversity, and makes you successors upon the earth? Is there any god besides Allah? Little is it that you take heed.” May Allah answer every sincere duʿā’, remove every hardship, and grant us what is best in this life and the Hereafter.
