Jude quoted 1 Enoch, Peter referred to it, there are many aspects in the NT that draw from an Enochian perspective. Many church fathers considered it inspired while also understanding it wasn't written by Enoch personally. For that matter, there are many books in the cannon that are considered by scholars to have not been written by the people they're named after. The big takeaway for me is that, though it may or may not be "inspired" it definitely informed the New Testament writers worldview.

I got a few mins… :
1st Enoch is considered ancient Jewish History. The title defines the time frame it is written about. For instance; if someone writes a book and calls it “The Book of Washington” it would be about the life of George Washington and the events surrounding his time.

book of Enoch is scripture. book 1 at least. It only didnt make it into the Bible because it wasn't discovered until the late 1700s.

Genesis was writen thousands of years after its original author also, the story teller handed down the story and it was written as the original author because it was his story… like if I wrote a diary and someone later turned it into a book
