Someone else posted on here that they do not get those tips that you auto gratuity. They suggest that you hand them cash that way they 100% get the money.

Tipping is supposed to be a bonus for good personal service - not a 'fee'. The US needs to scrap it compeletely and just pay people proper wages. It's so dumb.

I leave the gratuities and tip individually.. they all work so hard and some gruesome hours. They deserve it! It costs hardly anything each day for gratuities that go to everyone.

I would much rather let them automatically take my gratuities. The whole point of being on a cruise is to make vacation easier. No way I’m carrying around a bunch of bills to hand out here & there to only the staff members we see.

All of the back of house staff miss out then. Gratuities go to the people who launder your bedsheets, the sheds who make your food etc…you aren’t going to tip them individually are you?

It is a must. Been cruising for 25 years and I absolutely refuse to leave them on there. I tip cash and I am extremely generous. As someone who has worked in the casino business for 25 years going I understand Tips and what it means to the staff. Take the auto gratuities off and tip cash to the ones who directly serve you. Don’t balloon the checks of others as your direct staff won’t see much of it if anyway. Tip in cash🫶
