I saw the UAL prices and decided to do private accom. My room is miniature but it’s around 7.8k for around 40 weeks in east London for LCF but ik 0 ppl from UAL going there .

Hiii! There’s a private accommodation charity called affordable accommodation London and I have lived in their accommodation Cordwainers Court for 2 years. £200 a week in Hackney by London Fields!!! Really good price for location and right near LCF

current ual student, you’ll find most people are in private accoms not the ual buildings as the year goes on. It’s cheaper and also because “London is your campus” .. staying at the official accom isn’t super beneficial

I litteraly nearly cried seeing the price of the UAL accommodation,, I ended up getting the £181 a week one but it’s sooooo far from my uni campus

Honestly if I wasn’t able to commute to ual I would never been able to afford it. Accommodation is so expensive like my whole student loans would’ve been just rent alone. Also you also pay out a lot on the course for equipment and fabrics like if you’re doing a fashion design course be prepared for that 😭
