Captured live in Moscow in 1993, this set documents Cannibal Corpse during the Chris Barnes era: brutal riffing, guttural vocals, filthy bass tone and the kind of chaotic early-90s death metal atmosphere that made the band legendary. 📍 Moscow, Russia 📆 1993 Restored and remastered in 4K UHD from the 15 Years Killing Spree DVD, with a conservative preservation-first approach: improving clarity, stability and viewing comfort while staying close to the original source. This was a very difficult remaster. The DVD source is heavily compressed, with limited recoverable detail and a rough MPEG-2 texture. The goal was not to make it look modern or artificial, but to preserve the brutality and raw live feeling of the original footage. The audio was also in very rough shape. Guitars, bass and vocals were partially recovered and balanced in DaVinci Resolve, but the drums — especially the kick drum — remained the hardest part. There is still a hollow “plastic bucket” impact in the kick, which is clearly baked into the original DVD/live master.
