I got zero points on my claim. My daughter had a reassessment and she took the assessment on my behalf. Again zero points. My mental health is fine. But I have arthritis in both hips and two prolapsed discs in my spine. After MRI scans I was told surgery was the only option. I couldn't work. The surgeon said he couldn't operate as scar tissue from previous spinal surgery made it too dangerous. Two and a half years later and I can't walk more than a few yards before having to sit down. The pain is constant but greatly intensifies if I try to walk. I can never work again. I haven't left my one room in a shared occupancy for three months. Pip says I don't qualify as my mental state is OK. I get my food delivered by deliveroo and takeaway. If I have to go out I need to get taxis everywhere. I think the system is wrong. I worked my whole life,I'm 63,and lost my house to the bank because I couldn't pay my mortgage when ill health forced me to quit working.

I drive but panic if I go on roads I don’t know sometimes panic on roads I know and only try and drive on roads I know and sometimes I make excuses not to go out if I’m feeling panicky as I don’t trust myself driving

im on pip standard my health has changed for the worse and need to apply for mobility will i have to have a new assignment and if so will my claim stop while they sort my new one out

I hate the system. The system let me down at a time I needed it for the first time ever in my life. The suffering I have done because of it is shocking and left me in aweful situations .
