This probably could’ve been avoided if they had gone to the neighbor BEFORE going on vacation and just given them a heads up that they were going to be gone. That’s the neighborly thing to do. They probably wouldn’t have cared.

The car doesn't get towed if you're actually allowed to park there. So, quite simply, the car wasn't allowed to park there…
