@afspecwar: ShinMaywa US-2 is pretty cool plane. The U.S. is seeing the need for something like this and D.A.R.P.A. had the "Liberty Lifter" program to study and help develop a U.S. version. That wax nixed in 2025. Is this plane useful or just not really needed? Have a great 250th / 4th July celebration wherever you might be.
