If you're buying a console to play GTA6 get an Xbox series X it'll run the same on it and for 100 less it comes with a disk drive. Both companies are shit right now Xboz is slightly less shittier.

if it's last PS to have disc drive, the drive is definitely not useless. It's your ps4/ps5 combo machine for physical media for years to come. Ps6 will suck anyways.

Had my pro nearly 2 years now and probs keep it for the rest of my life as most of my game library is on disk I won’t be going forward with ps6 but il start saving for a pc

my friend for the past couple of years wanted me back on ps, and I was thinking of coming for the ps6 but with decisions like this, I'll probably stay on xbox and plus xbox will have steam on it(which i have games on steam)

The disc drive doesn't magically seal over in 2028, all your physical purchases up until then aren't going to suddenly stop working, you'll still be able to use it for movies...

I did EXACTLY this 1 week prior to the announcement. Feel betrayed. To compensate, I will only be buying 2nd hand market copies. Sony won't get another dollar from me, EVER. Boycotting GTA6 as well 😌
