my boy went in his bed while I was at work. he was only 5 and had extremely fast moving lymphoma. I just wish I was home with him.

I have the absolute worst guilt about putting my dog to sleep. At the time we suspected that he couldn't catch his breath and was having trouble breathing. The emergency vet wants hundreds of dollars thay we didn't have to even get him seen. So we put him to sleep without knowing what was wrong. On top of that they wanted us to pay EXTRA to be present when he was put to sleep. We couldn't afford that. My guilt goes deep, and I know my dog didn't choose that. We failed him.

My grandma had a cat my whole life after she passed away we took care of her and she had an infection of some sort we knew it was time and the morning I was going to take her to the vet I woke up she was already gone

I know this is a longshot, but my soul dog passed away in 2024 & I have a lot of guilt by letting him pass at home instead of at the vet. i hope he wasn’t in pain & he knows how much I love him & miss him. 🥺🥺
