I still love and miss Catholism. As a Former baptised as baby, catholic schooled, first holy communion and attempted second vocation person, I found its foundations (teachings, knowledge and idiosyncrasies) both sound and mature comparatively to all the rest. On my descent, I stood on these foundations; what helped me the most was my search and study of the saints who were afflicted similarly to myself; turned out they were all Black with extraordinary spiritual abilities and knowings. I stepped away once I encountered my sisters (and brothers -Priests) in the cloisters (in the west) suffering much from severe racism which their superiors termed “true temptations”.
