A better question is...What year did the manosphere get rebranded as negative?....initially, its core was about becoming the best masculine version of yourself, putting your health and wealth first, stop complaining and step into your manhood so that you become more attractive inside and out. But then some years later (recently) netflix made a documentary to shame all those men who choose to be better by associating them with hating women and incels, so weird. For a decade plus , it was... get off the couch, be better, get fit, know your worth, a lot of men used this motivation to get in the gym and get better jobs and approach women with confidence...but the powers that be saw it and didn't like it...it did a great job of collapsing that movement. It happened around the same time as being branded as the "manosphere"...before then it was just men realizing they need to put themselves first so that they can have a woman to protect, family, etc. You're asking a question under the false narrative. Hear me out... There are organizations spending a lot of money to make sure men don't unite under common healthy goals, so they quickly bastardize them. You could even make one yourself, call it, "The healthy balanced masculine project" or whatever, with great goals, once it gains power and helps men it will be turned into something that stops young men from becoming better. They call it a cult, promote the guys that turn it into something strange. So you're actually falling for what it was rebranded as... Soooo to answer your question...what really pushes men towards that stuff...in fact it's women...women fall for the rebrand narrative. We see that and see that in general women have a harder time seeing the hidden hand and even if you tell them, they get more love from the algo, other women, weak men, politicians, etc when they focus on the negative rebrand instead of praising men for becoming better versions of themselves. Did you even know there was a healthy version of this before it was packaged as the manosphere?

I personally believe social media and dating apps ruined everything (not that it wasnt broken before). When dating became a numbers game and more focused on what you see in a picture vs who the person is it all started to crack.
