@bobby_loads: Balancing a massive paycheck with a life at home is the ultimate OTR curse! When the market is hot, staying on the road means stacking serious cash—but burnout kills. Empty seats don't pay bills, but a life spent entirely in a sleeper berth isn't living. What is the absolute sweet spot to maximize revenue before the road completely takes over? 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or a full month out? #trucks #trucking #OTR #TruckDriver #OwnerOperator #HomeTime #TruckingLife #CDLHolder

5-6 weeks out. 5-7 days home. Some of my lanes gets me through home on random 34 hour resets and random overnights.

I'm based in Vincennes Indiana if you live nearby my deal works great because we load everything Fri to deliver Monday so they leave out Sunday to make delivery Monday stay busy all week then usually get back to load again Fri for Monday so you usually get Fri night all day Saturday and Sunday morning off ... it seems to be a good balance that way... 😁

No lies. If I’m running like an idiot and stacking money. I don’t have time to go home. If I gotta fight for runs and miles and busting my ass. I’ll just go to the house lol

Just worked 3 months straight to pay off 30+k in repairs. Taking advantage of this market for next month then taking 10 days off after building the bank act again

Back home for your reset is ideal, 5 days on the road and 2 days at home was probably my favourite. Also I found it best to run 2 weeks the second week running on rolled over hours and then reset back home
