I love that you call them adult words we call them that in our house too and my daughter knows what words are adult words and won’t say them (she sometimes will copy them if she hears someone say it but if we correct her and say oh that’s an adult word she’ll stop and say ok and won’t say it again she has autism with echolalia) she’s 4

Having access to food it’s so crazy because why are we withholding food from our kids? My sister used to do this and it was always so freaking weird to me.

There are also studies that show that spanking and hitting our kids causes life long mental illnesses including anxiety and major depression disorders. Also children do not even begin to develop impulse control until they are 5 years old. So when people say you know better, well ya they may have but they also couldn’t stop themselves from doing it because they don’t have developed impulse control.
