If you buy a home and plan on moving in less than 5 years just rent 🤷🏽♂️Most people these days stay in the home around 10 years if not more

Tariffing Canadian lumber didn’t help. The cost house lumber products has doubled/tripled over the past two years in the U.S. The US doesn’t have a large supply of old growth pine and fir like Canada.

Boy did I hit it right in 2015. FHA 3% down payment. Out of pocket was 15k. Then that same winter I filed a claim and they paid me 7k to fix my electrical service which I did myself because I’m licensed. So I really bought it for like 7k. It’s worth almost 1 million today 😂

We bought an older home that didn’t need a lot of work. Best decision ever because the price was half of what a new one would be and the charm of an older home is unbeatable.
