So true.I've had same dentist over 25 years.In the beginning I was confused when he always told no horry, no need to do this or that.He wanted to do minimal, no whitenings or deep cleanings without a reason.He wanted to save teeth bone as much as possible.Today I understand.And even today he wants to be sure, have all x rays before any fillings and try to heal the bone first.Cause it's easy to do but inpossible to undo later.

Not one dentist I ever had ever said one word about xylitol in my entire life. I’m 58. It may be impossible to find for awhile. Well at least I know.

Agreed. If you get a filling, they'll want to replace it later. If you replace it, they must drill more and remove more of the tooth. Eventually you'll need a crown. After that you may need an entire new tooth.
