In the states, we have something with the Better Business Bureau. I don’t know if you had that over there, but I would definitely report them if they won’t give you a refund.

As someone with dyspraxia and mobility issues this is awful (not you fault at all) but it is an issue for anyone who struggles to get up your stairs. I would demand a refund and raise a complaint if they do not deal with the complaint raise it with alternative dispute resolution or Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman. If neither help bring it to smalls claims court! Xxx

Also you could suggest adding runner bars which would be the perfect finishing gesture also they are what secures the carpet. 🤎
