Just wrapped two sessions on Claude for jewelry retailers at JCK at the Venetian Expo, and I’m still thinking about the conversations. Jewelry is one of those industries where the craft and the relationships are everything, so the question was never whether AI replaces any of that. It’s whether it can take the busywork off your plate so you get more time for the parts that matter. We worked through real examples: product descriptions that sound like your brand instead of a template, customer follow-ups that don’t sit in a drafts folder for three days, turning a pile of show notes into a clean writeup, and knocking out the repetitive emails that eat up an afternoon. A lot of people came in unsure where AI even fit into a jewelry business and left with a short list of things they could try the next morning. That’s the part I care about most, folks walking out with something they can use instead of just a cool demo.
