im getting no attacks. I will be happy with ANYTHING. my ocs are my babies. for them to be drawn at all would mean the world to me. i dont understand why be so stuck up about who draws for you.

I am literally going to print out every piece and put them in my wall because people took the time to appreciate my OCs and make art of them 🥹 I literally get so happy making art for someone and them simply commenting. This is my first year and I’m having so much fun because not only am I making someone else happy but I’m learning more techniques and practicing so many different skills!

I can't understand how people are angry to get art??? like how do you not jump with joy when you see someone drew you character??? i am genuinely sobbing whenever i see that i have a notification in my "attacks" CAUSE I LOVE TO SEE MY CHARACTERS IN OTHER PEOPLE'S EYES!!!! like omg they saw my art??? they drew my babies??? 🥹

Someone saw a character of mine, put some thought into how to make it cool and drew it for free. Why the hell would I question the quality or value of the result. If there is love, I take it and embrace it. Plus, I find getting the comments of the people I attack going crazy much more filling anyway :3 that's why I have a 11/4 attack-defense ratio this year so far xD

Literally been scared to join it for years now because I feel like my art isn't good enough. Hoping next year's the year I finally join but damn is it hard to join art fight when I've seen multiple people complain about the "quality" of attacks they get. When it shouldn't matter.

the only gripe I constantly have with art fight is when I have to race other artist to be a new participants first attack,like I get so sad whenever I see someone as already attacked them first like "dang it need to be faster"🤣

I save every single attack I get every year and they get added to my PC background rotation! No matter the "quality" someone did that for me!! They liked my little guys enough to draw them!

I literally made a whole folder just of artists that i wanna commission after art fight! I will attack some of them but im not expecting anything back, after the event is done, i will definitely commission them for a piece

It has to be said every year. It is an art GIFTING game. The idea that someone put effort into making something for you, for your characters, for free, should receive the love, respect, and appreciation it deserves.

I followed and attacked both small and large accounts because of course it’s cool to have the possibility of getting art from a big artist but showing love to the small ones and giving them an attack is always super rewarding! I make sure I put extra effort into their attacks as well and add shading and backgrounds
