I needed to see this. It has been a rough weekend with my husband. We talked today and he realizes we feel things differently, after 20 years he should know this. I know he is sorry for the affairs, I know he loves me, but he just wants me to move past it. He has been home 3 months. We agreed we need to communicate better. And he has been more open so hopefully nothing else pops up.

I find myself in a deep despair of grief. I know people work past betrayal. I know that we won’t be able to. I cannot love him with the purity that I used to. He is trying to convince me that we will love stronger, but my love for him was innocent and sweet. I could never treat him the same or look at him with the same innocent love that I used to and that is really heartbreaking. It’s only been two months, but it has been a rough two months since all this came out.
