Literally every Christopher Nolan movie gets this type of energy before it comes out. Like there was deep seated anger over Heath Ledger being cast as the Joker.

I'm sure it will be fine, not great, but fine. I don't really see Nolan's cinematography style working well for a Greek epic, and I don't see Matt Damon as a great Odysseus

The only way this is going to be good is if it’s a drastically different take on the story. Kind of like how his Batman stuff was more ‘grounded’ than the previous Batmans. I’m not super excited about it. I want something new. And this is the exact opposite of that!
