The dialogue for this show used to be so compelling and heavy. So many lines stuck with you. Louis really bare his soul to us, and it feels like Lestat is sardonic with no push back.

I too love Louie's narration but Louie and Lestat are inherently different people so of course the writing's not going to be the same that honestly sounds ridiculous to expect that

People forget that Louis’ seasons are not only through Louis’s eyes, but also through Armand’s eyes too very unhappy, depressed, abused men. And although Lestat is also depressed and abused, he presents differently. We’re not gonna get deep monologues from Lestat and that’s OK.
